The DAISY Awards are an international recognition program that celebrates excellence in the nursing profession, highlighting both clinical skill and compassionate care provided by healthcare professionals.

The Austral University Hospital has partnered with the DAISY Foundation to present this award every year to three nurses, as part of Nurses' Day.
